Pencil, ink & watercolor | A5 Sketchbook | 2007 - 2008
This is a small homage to one of my favorite artists! One who has so many times inspired and guided me!
These are two pages of my 2007- 2008 Sketchbook.
The one on the left is a version of one of my favorite of his paintings."Nach vorn gebeugter weiblicher Akt " (1912).
On the opposite page: the one on top, I've posted it here before on line work alone, under the name "egon k (not me)"; I made it thinking of a Schiele's painting, so I thought it belonged in this homage.. so i colored it and glued it on this page...
The girl on the bottom was based on
this photo "#257" from Valium Photography, one of my contacts on flickr. I liked the photo and the pose, so i tried to adapt it into a fusion of styles influenced by Schiele's line work and a contemporary model. Thank you for the inspiration Lucie!
